Asheville , North Carolina -Travel Guide

Asheville thanks for the amazing memories!

I recently went to Asheville with my family for a quick winter vacay. We decided to go here because living in Florida we don’t get much of a taste of winter, which we are super thankful for since we get to enjoy the amazing weather year round. However, we wanted to go and get a taste of the winter for this short trip.

The first day we flew in to Asheville and we stayed at the Biltmore estate inn. The inn is located on the Biltmore property and it’s STUNNING. When we went the Christmas decorations were up and it was honestly Christmas decor GOALS.

The next morning we had coffee with the amazing views that the Biltmore had to offer and headed over to the Biltmore estate and did a tour of the property.

After touring the estate we headed over to go eat – we ended up eating at a restaurant called Chai Pani which was in downtown Asheville. They had good vegetarian options. However, I would not necessarily recommend the non vegetarian options.

After lunch, we headed over to our cabin which we had rented in Penrose. This cabin had the most amazing views and it was the most amazing two days here 🙂

Pajama links (they unfortunately do not have the same one I am wearing. But I am linking some of my other faves)

We headed over to explore Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Both of these places were STUNNING. I would highly recommend visiting both places. However, I would recommend going to the Blue Ridge Parkway during the summer or fall so you are actually able to visit the Parkway. When we went it was very cold and the roads were not safe so most of the Parkway was closed off.

The last night we stayed at the AC hotel downtown in Asheville. We also went to French abroad Chocolates which was such a cute cafe. They had the BEST chocolates and hot chocolate as well. In fact, they were named one of the best Hot chocolate places by Travel & Leisure.

Here’s to an amazing trip. Can’t wait to visit again hopefully sometime in summer or fall and visit without almost freezing. Let me know in the comments where you would like to visit! Xoxo until next time 🙂
